We met in the hallway of our seminary, introduced by mutual friends. It was not love at first sight, but it became love at last sight. After a wedding, three moves, two children and a host of jobs, we are now here:

Brian is a Children's Minister at a church in Roanoke, VA.

Susan is a former Children's Minister now studying occupational therapy while working as a church secretary.

This blog is our place to share what we believe, what we dream, and what we're trying in our home as we seek to encourage faith development in our children and ourselves. We are not experts, just try-ers. We hope you'll join us in conversation, that we may learn from and encourage each other.
